Andes Bio-Pellets is a company that emerged in 2007 as an initiative of the JCE Chile S.A. Group to promote the use of environmentally friendly biofuels, utilizing residues from our sawmills. Andes Bio-Pellets operates in a business area with significant growth prospects, thanks to the worldwide validation of biomass pellets as a sustainable, profitable, and eco-friendly energy source. Our plant is established as one of the pioneering industries in the production of this fuel in Chile, backed by the experience of JCE Group, which invested over $100 million in 2006 to implement the world's largest pellet plant, Green Circle, located in Florida, USA. With an annual production of 45,000 tons in its initial stage, Andes Bio-Pellet positions itself as one of the largest producers of premium wood pellets nationwide. We have a reliable and secure source of raw material from Aserraderos JCE S.A., providing confidence and supply assurance of pellets to all our customers.
